Give yourself a lift with a breast lift abroad.
Also known as mastopexy, the surgery lifts the breasts, restoring a youthful shape. It is often performed in conjunction with a breast augmentation (enlargement) or breast reduction.
Pregnancy, weight fluctuation, aging and genetics all play a part in the shape of your breasts and if you are unhappy about the shape of yours then a breast lift may be the answer.
If your breasts lack firmness, are of a different size, are relatively small, you are not breast-feeding and you don’t intend to become pregnant again you may be a good candidate if you have realistic hopes and a positive attitude.
Your doctor will provide you with all the information you need to know but as a general rule you will be asked to the following in advance of your surgery:
• Avoid drugs such as aspirin that may cause an increase in bleeding• Stop smoking to avoid complications• Eat a healthy diet to boost your body’s nutrient levels to help the healing process
After your breast lift surgery you will need to make sure:
• Someone comes to pick you up as you won’t be able to drive• You have a support system at who will look after children for a week and do cleaning, laundry and housework for 2 weeks. This is where a holiday abroad can really help.• You rest fully and sleep on your back in an inclined position
The surgery for a breast lift can be performed in a number of ways, but usually the loose, excess skin and breast tissue is removed via an incision. The areola (the dark area around the nipple) may be moved to a position higher up on the breast.
As breast tissue is removed it is often done in conjunction with a breast implant to enhance the shape and size of the breasts.
Depending on the method used it can take between 1 and 3 hours to complete.
You are likely to have some pain after the anesthetic has worn off, and you can expect to be bandaged and may have surgical drains.
You will be encouraged to move around and get out of bed the day after surgery as this will help promote healing. It will take several days before you can get around comfortably and you will be told to avoid bending, lifting and straining.
Most people are able to return to work after a week, depending on what your job is, but you will need to avoid strenuous physical activity for at least 2 weeks.
Stitches will be removed gradually over 3 weeks, commencing the first week after surgery. After several weeks you should be able to recommence most normal activities but it could take up to 6 months before you are fully healed, inside and out.
It depends on where you go and whether you have a breast augmentation or reduction at the same time. Generally, most people save around 50%, but in some cases you can save around 80%. In comparison with the United States where a breast lift costs around
