Consider getting your nose job in Cancun. You can save at least 50% and enjoy a holiday into the bargain – and still have money leftover rather than getting the procedure at home.
If a surgical holiday appeals, find out how to achieve the most out of it with Medical Departures.
Chances are you have been considering getting a nose job for some time. Because your nose is such a prominent part of your features it is all too easy to become desperately unhappy. While it is easy to get the problem fixed, it is not a cheap option, and the cost may be prohibitive to you.
This is why many people are electing to travel abroad for their plastic surgery procedures, and typically places like Cancun, that are already tourist destinations in their own right, are offering high-quality medical procedures at much-reduced prices to overseas clients.
Cancun already has a good reputation as a vacation destinationhaving and has the infrastructure that caters splendidly for its visitors. Medical facilities for overseas clients have established themselves in popular resorts like Cancun and offer patients excellent facilities and medical expertise in the stunning surroundings of the Yucatan Peninsula.
There is a symbiotic relationship between medical tourists and medical providers, and one would not exist without the other. For medical providers, this is the impetus for delivery good quality services as the sector is highly competitive. If the quality is sub-standard, patients would just not come – and the internet is a great place for doing a little research if you are considering a particular location.
When you book through Medical Departures you are always assured of a certain standard – one that meets our criteria in that we check qualifications and professional memberships, as well as checking for any legal or criminal records. We personally visit facilities, taking photos that you can see on our website, and collecting real patient reviews for you to read. If we’re not happy, we simply don’t list.
We always recommend you do your own homework too. Know what’s entailed with your nose job procedure. Visit a specialist at home first and get an opinion and don’t be afraid to ask any questions. Be prepared so you know what to expect, and so you can make an informed judgment on what’s good for you.
You may as well ask ‘how long is a piece of string?’ The truth is that nose jobs are all very distinctive procedures, tailor-made to each individual’s requirements. One person may only require a subtle alteration of their nose – adjusting just the tip, for example; while others may require extensive reconstruction involving cartilage grafting. Obviously, the more complex the procedure the longer it is likely to take. The procedure may only take an hour, but it can be as much as six.
The bruising and swelling may vary depending on the exact nature of your procedure, but it could be a couple of weeks before it has settled down enough for you to return to work. After surgery your nose is likely to be bandaged, but you may also have splints and your nose may be packed with gauze, and these may not be removed for 7-10 days.
You will have to be careful for a few weeks that you don’t bang your nose and you will be advised not to do any exercise for 3 weeks, and then to take it gently. Over the weeks your nose will begin to feel stronger and after 6 weeks you should be able to resume normal activities and vigorous exercise.
You’d be looking at around $3,500 for a nose job in Cancun, compared to $8,000 in the United States.
