I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hernando Pacheco I had liposuction of the abdomen and lower back and had breast implants done. I had my surgery done in Barranquilla, Colombia because it is much more inexpensive and my sister had her surgery there 2 yeas ago. After months and months of research, I decided to go with Dr. Hernando Pacheco I cannot even begin to EXPRESS to you what a wonderful experience I had with him. For the 10 weeks before my trip, he and I communicated via e-mail almost everyday. I would write to him about every single question or doubt that popped into my head and he would respond with tons of information. When I finally did get to meet him in person the day after I arrived in Colombia, I felt SO comfortable with him. He is very well spoken and professional. My surgery was the following day and everything went well. He uses the tumescent technique for liposuction with regional anesthesia and sedation, so that the same day I was up and able to walk around, I stayed one night in the hospital after my surgery. He also uses open drainage, so I recovered without any bruises. My sister was astonished at the results after using open drainage. She said when she had her liposuction, her doctor didn’t use open drainage and she had huge bruises and so much swelling that took weeks to go away because all of the fluid that stayed trapped under her skin. It was 21 days yesterday since my surgery and I have been back to work for 6 days now. I was only In Colombia for a total of 14 days. My second day in Colombia, I went to his office I showed him all my blood work and ECG report I had done in Canada. The following morning I had my surgery. The day after the surgery, he came to the house to check how I was doing. His attention and service is by FAR the BEST I have ever encountered from a doctor, even compared to the ones here in Canada (and that’s saying a lot because I work at a hospital and deal with doctors all day). After the third day I felt well enough to start going out. At first, I started by making short trips to the supermarket, to get lunch, etc., but by day 5, I felt well enough to get the most out of my trip. My sister was amazed at how quick my recovery was. I was walking all around like a tourist. No one would ever suspect I had just had surgery. I am extremely HAPPY with my results and want to recommend Dr. Hernando Pacheco to anyone looking to have cosmetic surgery in Colombia. Please post any questions.
