Dr Miguel Alfaro Davila is an accomplished plastic surgeon, located in Escazu, San Jose in Costa Rica. Graduating from the University of Costa Rica Medical School, he completed his residency studies in Plastic Reconstructive Surgery in Denver at the University of Colorado Medical Center. He is a member of the Academic Council at the Autonomous University of Central America (UACA) and is a former professor of the University of Costa Rica Medical School.

Dr Alfaro has had a distinguished career and has membership of several professional organizations, domestically and internationally, including the International Plastic Surgery Society. He is also one of the founders of the Hospital CIMA in San Jose – accredited with the Joint Commission International (JCI), considered to be the gold standard in global health care.
