As part of your rhinoplasty procedure, you will have a consultation with your surgeon to determine your goals. This consultation may include a complete medical history as well as an examination. You will also discuss with your physician the technique that will be used, such as an open or closed method. With the closed method, incisions will be hidden inside the nose.
Rhinoplasty is performed under general anesthesia and takes between one and two hours to complete.
