Change the shape of your rear end with Butt Implants. In South Korea our quality-checked surgeons can offer expertise at a fraction of the price you’d pay at home.
This cosmetic surgery procedure is becoming increasingly popular for women wishing to create a shapelier, more feminine shape and many patients who have had the procedure said it has improved their confidence levels, as well as the fit of their clothes.
If you’ve decided that butt implants are for you then you may be considering options overseas. South Korea is not the name on everyone’s lips in terms of a holiday destination in Asia unlike, say, Thailand or Vietnam. However, it does have a lot to offer and in terms of Asian culture, history, scenery and many of the other accoutrements that make Asia such a fascinating destination. It is also one of the world’s technology giants, so no need to worry that it is a backwards, third-world country as it certainly is not.
In fact, if you travel to South Korea for cosmetic surgery you will most likely be in very good hands. Cosmetic Surgery is part of the culture here, and quite a lot of the population have had it (anything from between 20% and 50% of the population if the article in The New Yorker is to be believed).
Medical standards are very high here, and training, while it differs slightly the world over, is just as rigorous in most countries as it is in the West. Similarly, facilities tend to be excellent, equipped with the latest and newest innovative technologies and internationally-recognized standards met for hygiene and safety.
As with any medical procedure you are undertaking, we always advise that you do your own background checking. It is your health and body, after all. Unfortunately, there is no one easy method of figuring out quality, and we usually have to base our assumptions on a number of metrics. Medical Departures has a number of checks, including onsite visits, verification of qualifications & professional memberships, collation of patient testimonials and criminal/legal record checks. Only when these check out satisfactorily do we list a clinic/doctor on our website.
The butt implant procedure takes between 1 and 2 hours. A general anesthetic is administered and small incisions are made in the natural creases of the buttocks, below the large gluteal muscle. The implants are inserted through these incisions, which are then stitched closed to heal. Sometimes the procedure is done in combination with fat transfer – where fat is removed by liposuction from one part of the body, and injected into the buttocks, which is said to give a more natural appearance.
Following surgery you will feel tender and stiff and sitting down may not be an option for a day or two. You may find it more comfortable to lie on your stomach. Walking around as soon as you can after surgery does speed up the healing process as it helps reduce swelling (and blood clots!)
It may be a couple of weeks before you can return to work, and several months before you feel healed inside and outWhat is the cost of butt implants in South Korea, in comparison to Australia and New Zealand?
Butt implants in South Korea typically cost around 50% of the price they do in Australia.
