Butt Lift in Thailand

The Ultimate Guide to Butt Lift in Thailand

Give your rear a makeover with butt lifts in Thailand. Loose, sagging skin can be removed to restore your shape as a result of significant weight loss, or just the natural ageing process.

This procedure is not the same as the Brazilian butt lift, which increases volume, either with fat injections from elsewhere on your body, or with implants.

Thailand is renowned for its excellence in cosmetic surgery, and visitors to the Kingdom can choose to have their surgery either at popular tourist hotspots, as well as in vibrant Bangkok.

Why should I have a butt lift in Thailand?

Thailand’s diverse attractions provide tourists with a plethora of destinations to enjoy before, during and after surgery. Exotic islands, remote hill resorts, legendary beaches and, of course, the inimitable Bangkok – its contrasting locations offering something for everyone. Add in friendly people, the food and world-class facilities and you have the ultimate places to visit, either for a holiday, or as a medical tourist.

Renowned for its service culture, the Thais seem to think of everything to ensure its visitors are looked after. Medical tourists are often amazed at the quality of its healthcare services – with many internationally accredited hospitals offering luxury and convenience with many specialties being catered for under one roof.

Staff are excellently trained, possessing the qualifications, skills and experience to offer patients the latest and safest treatments. Many doctors have trained and practiced abroad, English is widely spoken, and translator services are also available for other languages.

While services are good at reputable clinics and hospitals, we always recommend that if you are travelling anywhere for surgery that you find out as much as you can beforehand about your procedure, the destination, clinic and doctors/surgeons. Have a look on the internet – see if you can find anyone else that has had butt lifts in Thailand, and if they have any recommendations – it’s a good enough place to start.

This is easier than it looks, we know, but Medical Departures has taken the strain by doing a lot of background checks for you. When you book through us, you are already assured that we have verified qualifications, checked legal/criminal records and visited the clinics. If we don’t like what we see, we don’t list them.

You can check out our listings, which also include clinic photos, virtual tours and real patient reviews – all designed to give you an impression of a particular clinic, and to aid you in coming to a decision about what is right for you.

What is the procedure for butt lifts in Thailand, and how long does it take?

Depending on how much skin you need removing, the butt lift procedure typically takes around 2 hours.

There are a number of techniques your surgeon may use, but typically, incisions will be made at the top of the buttocks, groin, hips or under the buttock cheeks where the excess skin will be removed. Liposuction may also be used. The remaining skin will be pulled tight and stitched closed. You may have drains inserted to remove excess fluid and a compression garment to help reduce swelling.

The butt lift procedure will require 2 or 3 weeks of recovery time before you can engage in your everyday activities, but it will take a number of months before you are fully healed.

What is the cost comparison of a Butt lift in Thailand compared to Australia or New Zealand?
