You’ve done the work, and lost the weight, but the results are not as stellar as you had been hoping. You still have some spots of stubborn fat and loose sagging skin on your butt. A butt lift (gluteoplasty, buttock lift) in Manila might be just the tweak you need, to twerk with pride.

Research Butt lift treatment, providers and facilities in Manila, just as you would for providers at home. Not all surgeons are alike, so you need to learn as much about the procedure, the surgeon’s education, professional associations, like ISAPS, and experience. Check out their before and after photos, to make sure your expectations match with the work they do. Read their reviews, too, to see how satisfied their previous patients were.
While you are doing your homework, be sure to check out Medical Departures, and all the information we have collected for you. We’ve worked hard to do quality checks to make sure we list providers with the best education and professional memberships. We share reviews and before & after photos. We even go a step further to provide criminal and legal checks.
General Anesthesia is most common. Your surgeon will make incisions across the top of your buttocks, or in the crease below your buttocks, where they join with your legs, and/or in the hip or groin regions – depending on your specific needs. Excess skin will be removed and the remaining skin will be tightened. Liposuction may be used to eliminate any stubborn pockets of fat, for a smoother contour. The incisions will be closed with layered sutures, so skin remains tight.
Your incisions will be dressed, and you may have drains to help reduce swelling. You’ll wear a fitted compression garment to help reduce swelling and support your new shape as it heals.
Butt Lifts sometimes include butt augmentation, if more volume in the buttocks is needed, or as part of an extensive tummy tuck.
How long will the procedure take to do?
A Butt lift surgery can take anywhere from 3 to 6+ hours to complete.
You can return home the same day of surgery, as long as you have someone to provide skilled care for the next two or three days. Alternatively, you can stay in an inpatient facility and get skilled care. Either way, you will need someone who is able to care for your drains.
Plan ahead to make sure you have help at home. You will have to sleep, sit, stand and move specific ways to make sure there is no tension on your incisions. It takes about two to three weeks to recover enough to return to normal activity, and a bit longer to resume more strenuous activities. Full recovery can take months, but can be sped up if you take good care of your general health, and have adequate help for daily tasks.
