The average time is likely to be around one or two hours, although this may be slightly longer if more complex repair work is required, especially if you are having the procedure carried out in the hospital while under general anesthetic.

What Is the Recovery Time for a Designer Vagina?

As with any surgery, you will feel sore and some discomfort after the anesthesia begins to wear off. You will probably feel more comfortable lying down, rather than sitting, for the next few days, but you should walk around as much as you can as this helps with the healing process.

To bear in mind post-surgery:

You may find applying ice packs or even a bag of frozen peas helpful in reducing swelling, as well as being soothing.
After three days, you should be able to resume most of your everyday activities.
Depending on the complexity of the surgery, some people can go back to work after approximately four days, although most take a week off.
You should take it easy, avoiding vigorous exercise, including horse-riding, motorcycles and sexual intercourse, for six weeks.
