Get rid of jowls, wattle neck and other unwanted fat with facial liposuction. In Cancun you can arrange your vacation and book with Medical Departures so that you can undergo the procedure while you’re away in Mexico.
Cancun’s the perfect destination for a holiday, and how great will it be to return home looking healthier and younger?
Facial liposuction is a viable way of taking years off your face without needing to have a facelift. For many of us, we just have one or two problem areas that we need to deal with, and this could be the solution for you.
It isn’t suitable for everyone though: liposuction does not remove excess skin – so your skin will have to be supple and have enough elasticity in it to keep its shape once the fat has been removed, otherwise it will hang loosely and even look worse.
The cost is one of the major reasons why people look to Cancun for their plastic surgery and aesthetic procedures – it is considerably less expensive than in the US and Canada, as well as the UK/Eire and Australia/New Zealand.
Cancun is a hot destination – and we don’t just mean weather-wise. It’s renowned the world-over for holidaymakers, and medical tourism is catching up. Foreign clients travel here for a broad range of different surgeries, from extensive mommy makeovers to simpler procedures like facial liposuction.
If you want to dip-your-toe into aesthetic surgery without having a big procedure with lots of downtime, then facial liposuction is a good place to start.
The healthcare facilities we have partnered with in Cancun are excellent. New, contemporary clinics and hospitals are equipped with the latest diagnostic and therapeutic technologies and staffed with skilled clinicians. You’ll find many have had some training overseas, particularly in the United States, with US Board registrations and international memberships to organizations such as the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
All listings on the Medical Departures site have already been background-checked and verified by us. This includes legal/criminal records; qualifications and professional memberships. We also visit clinics personally, compile real patient reviews and publish these and high-definition clinic photos on our site, along with prices and other useful information.
This gives you everything you need to know at your fingertips, enabling you to make the right decision.
The facial liposuction procedure only takes about an hour to perform and is fairly straightforward.
After anesthesia has been administered your surgeon will begin by making small incisions in inconspicuous areas so that the cannula (a thin tube) can be inserted. This is used to pump in a liquid to liquefy the fat, and then suck out the dissolved fat.
The wounds are stitched neatly closed to complete the procedure. Do bear in mind that you will need to spend time at the medical facility beforehand (planning stage) as well as after, giving you time to rest before you head back to your hotel.
Following your procedure, do note the following:
The cost for facial liposuction in Cancun is only around US $1,500 (CAN $1,900; EURO €1,300; UK £1,100; AUS $1,900). This is compared to the United States where it’s around $6,000 (CAN $7,700; EURO €5,400; UK £4,500; AUS $7,800).
