Why Use Sculptra?

Sculptra is a branded, injectable type of dermal filler made from poly-L-lactic acid that replaces lost collagen, correcting shallow to deep nasolabial facial wrinkles and folds (also known as “smile lines” or “laugh lines”). The treatment rejuvenates your face to help lend you a more youthful look. With very little downtime, it’s ideal to have when visiting Bangkok on holiday or business, where you can get on with your trip with little interruption.

Sculptra offers subtle results that can last for more than two years. A series of injections over a period of months gives a natural appearance, using a biocompatible and biodegradable synthetic material that has been in medical use for decades. Collagen production decreases as we age, which causes the onset of wrinkles. Replacing lost collagen is the key component to keeping skin smooth and young-looking. Sculptra treatment replaces collagen via a series of injections (on average three or four) although this varies from person to person.

A rule of thumb here is one vial of Sculptra for every 10 years of age. So if you’re 30, you’ll need three; four if you are 40, and so on. 

Sculptra Aesthetic is suitable for:

-Nasolabial folds–the deep folds between nose and mouth, also known as smile lines

-Marionette lines (the lines framing your mouth)

-Chin wrinkles

The number of injections per treatment will be decided between you and your physician. Your treatment will not take long; each designated site will only take a few minutes. You may experience discomfort at the injection site, but some physicians may give you an anesthetic before treatment begins.

Immediately after the treatment, you will experience some redness and swelling both of which will subside over the next day or two.
