Dr. Kara earned his medical degree from Karadeniz Technical University. He later completed his surgical specialization at Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital’s 3rd Surgery Clinic in 2008.

Dr. Kara served at Karşıyaka State Hospital from 2008 to 2015, after obtaining his specialization. During his tenure, he introduced several ground-breaking procedures, including laparoscopic surgeries for esophageal cancer, bariatric conditions, and colorectal diseases, making him one of the first surgeons to perform these operations at the hospital. His innovative contributions significantly enhanced the hospital's surgical standards and set a benchmark for advanced care in the public sector.

He earned the Certificate of Surgical Competency from the Turkish Surgical Association in 2008, and by 2010, he had expanded his expertise further with professional training in endoscopy.
