Dr Sison graduated as a Bachelor of Science in zoology at the University of Santo Tomas in 1990 and continued to study there for his medical degree in 1994. His clinical internship at Makati Medical Center ended in 1996 followed by his general surgery residency until 2002. His plastic surgery fellowship was awarded at University of Santo Tomas in 2005 where he also received board certification from the Philippine Board of Plastic Surgery.
