The Brazilian butt lift has become one of the most popular procedures to have at the moment, as women the world over are reclaiming their curves and celebrating their femininity.
Not to be confused with a traditional butt lift (where only excess skin is removed and sometimes fat), a Brazilian butt lift involves fat grafts being extracted from another region of the body; it is then processed, refined and finally injected into the buttocks for added volume and a more contoured shape.
Mexico is one of the world's leading destinations for affordable cosmetic surgery – especially for Americans and Canadians thanks to the close proximity. Having surgery can be a daunting prospect, and so the short flight time (rather than having to endure a long-haul flight), certainly helps in this regard.
In fact, people in the southern United States can actually drive over the border to cities like Tijuana and Mexicali, which makes it even more appealing to some.
Medical travelers from across the world are now also coming here to enjoy the high standards of patient care in Mexico at prices that are considerably less than back home. Expertise is something that many international patients worry about - as well they should. However, in Mexico, we have partnered with world-class surgeons who have undertaken training in the United States and are likely to be members of one of the US medical specialty boards.
Mexico is such a vast country, and there are excellent medical facilities situated not just in the capital, Mexico City, but throughout. From Cancun to Puerto Vallarta and Tijuana to Monterrey, there’s a destination to suit all tastes.

The Brazilian butt lift procedure is a form of butt implant but uses your own fat, rather than synthetic implants, in a process called autologous fat transfer.
This simply means that fat is extracted from one part of your body, and injected into another.
The donor site (or sites) from where the fat is removed can be the back, stomach or thighs and it is extracted by liposuction and purified before it can be injected into the buttocks.
Special cannulas are used to inject the fat through various incisions made in inconspicuous areas (the scars of which will fade with time but are hidden underneath bikini bottoms).
Depending on how much fat is needed for the procedure, the Brazilian butt lift may take several hours.
Following your surgery:
The cost of a Brazilian butt lift in Mexico is around $4,000, compared to $8,000 in the United States.
