How Can I Be Sure of the Quality of a Rhinoplasty in Manila?

What Does a Rhinoplasty Procedure Entail?

You’ll have an initial consultation with your chosen surgeon in Manila to assess your health and needs, as well as discuss your expectations. Before the surgery can go ahead, you will need to be examined, have x-rays taken, and undergo any applicable test tests. 

There may be a 24-hour waiting period prior to surgery. On the day of your surgery, you will be given anesthesia, the surgeon will make the needed incisions, and will reshape your nose structure. Once the reshaping is complete, the surgeon will close the incision and you will be given time to recover at your chosen facility. 

Techniques:

While generally done for aesthetic purposes, nose jobs are carried out for a number of reasons; each one uses different methods.

Two of the most common rhinoplasty techniques are:

• The "closed" procedure, which hides the incision inside the nose.
• The "open" procedure, which requires the surgeon to make an incision in the piece of your nose that separates your nostrils (the septum).

What Is Recovering From a Nose Job Like?

You will wear a nasal splint for the first week, and bruising should decrease during that time, too. Noticeable swelling will decrease over the next two weeks, though it may take a few months for all of the swelling to disappear. You should see the final shape of your nose in about six months.

You will be asked to avoid strenuous exercise or activities that may cause something to hit your nose three to four weeks after surgery.
