This Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer (“AI Disclaimer”) applies to your access to and use of all websites, platforms, and services operated by Medical Departures Inc. (“Medical Departures,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including without limitation www.dentaldepartures.com, www.dentaldepartures.ca, www.dentaldepartures.co.uk, www.dentaldepartures.de, www.dentaldepartures.net, www.medicaldepartures.com, www.medicaldepartures.ca, www.medicaldepartures.co.uk, www.medicaldepartures.de, and www.medicaldepartures.net (collectively, the “Site”), and the appointment, booking, and other services provided through the Site (the “Services”).

By accessing, browsing, or using the Site or Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this AI Disclaimer. This AI Disclaimer is incorporated by reference into the Website Terms and Conditions of Use and does not modify any other agreement you may have with Medical Departures or its subsidiaries or affiliates.

1. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Medical Departures uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) technologies to support and enhance the Site and Services, including:

1. customer support and inquiry routing;
2. booking and quote assistance;
3. fraud detection and platform security;
4. personalization of informational content; and
5. operational analytics and service improvement.

AI is used solely as a support tool. Medical Departures does not use AI for fully automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on users.

2. AI Limitations

You acknowledge and agree that:

1. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or incorrect;
2. AI systems may misinterpret complex, nuanced, or fact-specific inquiries;

You agree that you assume all risks associated with reliance on AI-generated outputs.

3. No Medical or Dental Advice

Medical Departures does not provide medical or dental services.

AI-generated content made available through the Site:

1. does not constitute medical, dental, or clinical advice;
2. does not provide diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or clinical decision support;
3. does not assess medical urgency, procedural suitability, risk stratification, patient eligibility, or individual health risks.

All healthcare decisions must be made directly between you and a licensed healthcare provider. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

4. Providers and Estimates

Medical Departures operates a marketplace platform connecting users with independent medical and dental service providers (“Providers”).

Any descriptions, procedure lists, pricing information, timelines, or estimates displayed on the Site or generated using AI tools are non-binding estimates only. Actual services, suitability, and pricing are determined solely by the Provider following direct consultation or examination.

Medical Departures is not responsible for Provider services, outcomes, clinical decisions, or billing.

5. Human Oversight

AI-enabled features are subject to human oversight. You may request human review of any AI-generated response or interaction that materially affects you by contacting customer support. Human review will be provided within a reasonable timeframe, subject to operational constraints.

6. Data Use and Third-Party AI Providers

AI systems may process information you voluntarily provide, interaction data, and aggregated or anonymized usage patterns.

Medical Departures may use third-party AI and infrastructure providers to support AI functionality. These providers may process user inputs solely to generate responses or support platform operations, subject to contractual safeguards, applicable privacy laws, and our Privacy Policy.

Medical Departures is not responsible for errors, omissions, or outputs generated by third-party AI technologies.

Medical Departures does not use identifiable personal or clinical data to train external AI models.

7. Content Protection and AI Training Prohibition

Unless expressly authorized in writing, Medical Departures prohibits the use of any Site content—including text, images, audio/video, metadata, compilations, or “look and feel”—for:

1. training, developing, testing, or improving artificial intelligence or machine learning systems;
2. scraping, dataset creation, archiving, caching for redistribution, or model training.

Unauthorized AI training or data extraction is strictly prohibited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medical Departures shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to:

3. incorrect, incomplete, or misleading AI-generated outputs;
4. interactions with Providers or third parties; or
5. errors, omissions, interruptions, or system failures.

10. Availability and Modification

AI-enabled features may be modified, suspended, limited, or discontinued at any time without notice. Medical Departures makes no guarantee regarding the availability or continuity of AI functionality.

11. Changes to This AI Disclaimer

Medical Departures may update this AI Disclaimer at any time. Updates are effective upon posting. Continued use of the Site or Services constitutes acceptance of the revised AI Disclaimer.
