Associate Professor Dr Hasan Erdem received his medical education at the Istanbul Medical School of Istanbul University, graduating in 2002. He completed general surgery training in 2008, and obligatory services to the State in 2011. After that, he undertook studies in Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery, establishing his own private clinic in 2016. He was granted the title of Association Professor of Obesity and Metabolic Conditions in 2018.
Working alongside a committed team that comprises a general surgeon and bariatric dietician, the facility aims to help patients achieve their goals of losing weight and regaining their health with non-surgical treatments, such as Gastric Botox, which slows the digestion of food in the stomach, providing a sensation of fullness for a longer period of time.

Sleeve Gastrectomy
A procedure in which 80% of the stomach is removed, as well as the gastric fundus, where the hunger hormone (ghrelin) is released. Patients subsequently lose their appetite which promotes rapid weight loss.
Gastric Balloon
An expandable balloon is inflated in the stomach, creating a feeling of fullness and reduced appetite.
Gastric Bypass
A small pouch is created to shrink the stomach and bypass a segment of the small intestine, which combines food restriction and malabsorption to promote weight loss.

Hello, I would like to start off by thanking Dr. Hasan & Dr. Mehmet who have successfully completed my operation and made several visits with a positive attitude; keeping me on high spirits and motivated as well as Ms. Serra, with whom I will keep in constant touch in this new chapter of my life and finally Ms. Perihan, who has explained the entire process in detail (as educated as any doctor). I wish them all the fortune and success. 🙏🏻🤗 I had been having problems like sleep irregularity and sinusitis, constantly losing and regaining weight and my BMI had reached 42 in the final stages. I decided to undergo a procedure since my insulin resistance had peaked 1.5 times above the limit and my blood pressure and internal lipidosis were on the verge. Of all the doctors I was in talks with, Hasan Erdem and his team was the most appealing option due to their sympathetic and humorous attitude.😄 I had done my research about the operation: therefore had many questions. Both Dr. Hasan and Ms. Serra the dietician answered my questions and explained everything with such patience that I was instantly relieved. The medical team indicated every notable aspect of the procedure such as the risks, in which stages I could be in pain post-op; however I had no complaints about the pain except for the first 4 hours after the procedure. I’m still in the early stages of the process and I hope all will keep going as smoothly. I had a gastric sleeve surgery 5 months ago by Dr. Hasan Erdem and Mehmet Gençtürk. I had no problems up to now, the doctors and nurses were very attentive. I left the hospital in a good mood and keep getting happier as I keep losing weight. I’m almost there in terms of reaching my ideal weight. I cordially thank both the doctors and my dietician. My experience began a year ago today. I met Dr. Hasan and his team through the recommendation of a friend. Now my whole world has changed. After giving birth, I put on weight and became diabetic. I couldn’t lose the weight and had to take medicines daily. I met a friend one day and told her about my problems. She informed me about Dr. Hasan and I decided to meet him. Looking back, it was a very lucky moment because his magic hands reduced me to 63 kilos from my original 98. I regained my self-confidence and stopped using blood sugar and blood pressure. This surgical operation that everybody seems to be afraid of is not as it seems. I wish I had done it earlier. I thank Dr. Hasan, Serra and Armağan personally. All my best wishes.
