Dr. Suthorn Bavonratanavech is an expert in trauma and orthopaedic surgery with more than 45 years of experience. Fluent in English and Thai, he earned his M.D. from Chiang Mai University in 1974 and completed his speciality training with a Diploma from the Thai Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1978.


Dr. Bavonratanavech is an active member of the Thai Medical Council, the Thai Medical Association, the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand and the Thai Orthopaedic Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the ASEAN Orthopaedic Association and the AO Foundation. Currently, he is the President of the Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand.
