About Dr. Burak Onvural, MD

Born in Izmir, Turkey, Dr. Onvural first graduated from the country’s well-renowned Aegean University (Medical Faculty) in 2006. He finished a fellowship in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Tepecik Education and Research Hospital in 2012 before gaining clinical experience as a specialist physician at the Hand Surgery and Sports Surgery Department of Tepecik Education and Research Hospital between 2012 and 2015.

During this period, he continued part of his education abroad, studying in Switzerland’s International Trauma Society - AO (Association für Osteosynthesis) and also working as an instructor in the AO Society. Dr. Onvural began working in private hospitals in 2015 and has run his own private clinic here in Izmir since 2020.

As for his personal motto: “Help people keep moving, regardless of their age.”
