Founded in 1993 by Dr. Swadi Pothikamjorn, a board-certified ophthalmologist with more than 50 years of experience in the field, he and his team offer a broad range of medical treatments and innovative therapies to help improve and often save patients’ eyesight.

About Dr. Swadi Pothikamjorn:
Dr. Swadi Pothikamjorn is a board-certified, internationally-trained (US) ophthalmologist with more than 50 years of experience in the field. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICS), and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAAO). He is also a member of the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Pothikamjorn received his medical degree from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in 1968; he went on to complete a residency in ophthalmology at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) before serving as a Captain in the United States Army Medical Corps.
In private practice since 1971, he still frequently gives lectures at medical conferences and has published a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals.

The best one. My mom , my grandparents and parent's friend went there. Terrific hospital in this area because Doctor Sawat who is founded this place who is the best and he used to take care king rama 9. Also, the stunning riverfront view on Rama 3 road if you stay the higher floor as 8th floor. Thai eye hospital also service room when you sergery your eyes so, you would like to take a rest for one night as you can.

I am a 73 years old UK male and recently had LASIK Cataract surgery at this top class facility . My situation will be somewhat different from those of you contemplating have this surgery here in that I am blind in my other eye so it was necessary but daunting . I would like to thank everyone at Thai Eye Centre for their outstanding care of me but also the positive and honest reviews of former patients . These gave me the confidence to have the surgery , thank you all . From the first moment that you arrive for your initial examination to the operation itself you will be dealt with speedily , courteously and professionally . The day of the operation You will receive a series of eye drops to numb the eye and this takes around 20 minutes . Incredibly the actual operation itself is completed in about the same time . Let me assure you , this is totally painless . Simply follow the surgeons guidance , it’s that simple . You will be able to see immediately after the operation and any settling down of the eye will not last long . You will be required to attend the next day for a check up and when you look at the eye reading numbers chart you , like myself will be amazed at the improvement Do not hesitate to use Thai Eye Center
